Trey and Stephanie's Wedding

My oldest nephew, Trey, was married Sunday, April 19, 2009. Here are some of the photos that I took . Trey before the wedding!
Stephanie before the wedding! Sandy helped her with her hair and makeup.

R.D. and Michelle, the proud parents!

Momma, this was her first grandchild to be married.

Trey and Stephanie cutting the cake. The cake was a combined effort of Momma, Sandy, and me. Momma baked and then iced the cakes. I made the frosting and put shells around the edge of the cake and Sandy added the finishing touches with flowers and making it beautiful. I think it turned out beautiful!

R.D., Trey and Michelle. It was a very emotional day for the parents! Yikes! You learn how fast time goes by when you start seeing the kids growing up and getting married.

It's a little fuzzy but I like this picture of Trey and Stephanie together.

The whole clan minus one. Ryan is on his mission we miss you Ryan.

One Crazy Week!

Well it's spring break and the kids are all home. What a time we have had. I already posted last weekend but let me tell you about our week. It started off pretty slow. Monday we just cleaned house but on Tuesday I remembered about Taxes! Arggg!!! I started working on them at 9am and was still working on them around 1am. No that is not a typo I worked all day on the darn things and didn't get anywhere. So on Wednesday I started working on them again at 9am and then gave up and decided it was time to mail in an extension. Should have been easy right. NOT!! I had to go to David's office about 3 times trying to get them to print so that I could mail them off. I finally bought a printer so that I could print them at home and then finally I was mailing them at the post office. When all of that was done I drove to pick up Krystal and then we went to my mom's house. My nephew is getting married on Sunday and mom and I needed to frost his wedding cake. So that is what we did on Thursday. I'll post pictures of the cake later. I forgot to take some so I will have to wait until Sunday. Anyway the last couple of days have been crazy and the next couple of days will be crazy too. I'll post more later.

Easter 2008 Pictures

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We managed to fill the day with a lot of fun activities. I have added a whole bunch of pictures to document our fun. However, I want to make sure to mention that all though we had a lot of fun, we still took time to think about the true reason we were celebrating Easter. Our Savior Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins and made it possible for us to return home to our Father in Heaven. May we always remember no matter what the day, is my continual prayer. Okay so now for the fun.
When we got to my mom's house on Saturday the kids went played outside because it was such a beautiful day and we knew that it was to rain on Sunday. Jessica climbed a tree and I just had to take a picture. Isn't she cute?
The kids were able to play with their cousin, Becky.
Saturday night we had an Easter egg painting party! Here are the girls, my 5 with their cousin.
Here is Uncle Russell with Jared!
The Boys! I just love Jared's smile in this one.
Time for the fun! Krytal, Jessica and Becky dying eggs.
The adults got in on the action too! Here is my sister Sandy.
And my sister Theresa.
And my brother Ronn!
We decorated about 12 dozen eggs. I had bought 15 dozen but some broke and we put them into the potato salad! Then on Sunday morning we had our Egg hunt but before they could find the eggs the kids had to find the baskets that the crazy bunny had hid. Alecia found hers.
Here is Brandon with his, my he looks a little rough.

Katie with her basket.
Krystal with her basket.
The crazy bunny decided to make Bethany Jump for hers! LOLBut that's okay because she managed to get it in the end!
Jessica found hers under the table!
Jared found his up in a tree!
Once the baskets were found it was time to hunt the eggs.
Jared liked to find them.
Jessica trying to figure out how to get the egg!
Krystal happy about how many she is finding.
Bethany and Krystal share eggs.
Once the eggs were found and a yummy breakfast of eggs benedict we started to get pretty for church. Here is Jessica with a hair style I found off of Mormon Mommy blogs.
After we all got pretty we went outside to take some pictures.
Katie in a tree. Goodness she is growing up way too fast!
I did I fun hair style on Krystal also. I can't believe that she is 9.
Okay, here is Bethany and man does she know how to pose!
Okay there are more pictures of Jessica but I just wanted to show off her hair style. I was really impressed with myself! LOL
And the other side!
Now here is her smiling face.
I got the girls minus Alecia all together and told them they could have fun.
But I managed to get a good one first!
After Church the whole Crew got together for dinner. Ron made some awesome barbqued ribs.
Here is Trey and his fiance Stephanie.
Mom, Theresa, and Sandy
Bro. and Sis Pinegar
Ray and Chelle, My oldest Brother.
Russell and Riley, My youngest brother and a nephew
After dinner we had our annual cousins plastic egg hunt!

While the girls were hiding eggs and watching the hunt the guys talked gardens. Here they are talking about the blueberry bushes.
All in all we had a wonderful time and then came home. I hope everyone had as great a time as I did.
