We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We managed to fill the day with a lot of fun activities. I have added a whole bunch of pictures to document our fun. However, I want to make sure to mention that all though we had a lot of fun, we still took time to think about the true reason we were celebrating Easter. Our Savior Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins and made it possible for us to return home to our Father in Heaven. May we always remember no matter what the day, is my continual prayer. Okay so now for the fun.
When we got to my mom's house on Saturday the kids went played outside because it was such a beautiful day and we knew that it was to rain on Sunday. Jessica climbed a tree and I just had to take a picture. Isn't she cute?
The kids were able to play with their cousin, Becky.
Saturday night we had an Easter egg painting party! Here are the girls, my 5 with their cousin.

We decorated about 12 dozen eggs. I had bought 15 dozen but some broke and we put them into the potato salad!
Then on Sunday morning we had our Egg hunt but before they could find the eggs the kids had to find the baskets that the crazy bunny had hid. Alecia found hers.

Once the eggs were found and a yummy breakfast of eggs benedict we started to get pretty for church. Here is Jessica with a hair style I found off of Mormon Mommy blogs.

After Church the whole Crew got together for dinner. Ron made some awesome

After dinner we had our annual cousins plastic egg hunt!
While the girls were hiding eggs and watching the hunt the guys talked gardens. Here they are talking about the blueberry bushes.
All in all we had a wonderful time and then came home. I hope everyone had as great a time as I did.

Momma, this was her first grandchild to be married.
Trey and Stephanie cutting the cake. The cake was a combined effort of Momma, Sandy, and me. Momma baked and then iced the cakes. I made the frosting and put shells around the edge of the cake and Sandy added the finishing touches with flowers and making it beautiful. I think it turned out beautiful!
