True Love!!!
Last night Alecia asked if she could start walking before her shower each morning. For those of you who don't know she wakes up and takes a shower at 4:45 am. Now who in their right mind is going to allow their 15 year old daughter to walk by herself at that time in the morning! (Sigh) Yeah and I am a sucker for my kids, I just love them sooo much and I want them to have every opportunity. So what do I say.... I told her that I would get up with her at 4am and walk with her!!!! Am I NUTS!!!! I told her she had to wake me up hoping that she would sleep in and not want to walk. But nooooo my dedicated sweet wonderful daughter woke me up and then when it looked like I was going to go back to sleep she said, "come on mom, Mind over matter." Eeeek that was her Dad coming straight out of her mouth. So of course I roll out of bed and go walking with her. It is a good healthy habit but come on 4am is crazy.

My very busy week! The next 6 posts!
The next 6 posts were all posted today because I was kind of busy while for the last week. Between roofing, basket ball games, zoo trips, fishing trips birthdays and weddings I was really busy. I hope you enjoy reading about my week. I sure had fun living it.LOL
Roofing?!?!
Michelle and Robert needed to re-roof their house that they are renting so they came down to get it done. Brandon and I helped them and their son Casey. I didn't do much but I figured what I was able to do was something that they didn't have to do. Brandon was a big help and worked really hard and played some too. LOL Yes I did get on the roof and yes I did help. I helped get the original tiles off and then I helped pass the shingles and cut shingles.

Brandon working on something. Robert is in the background it looks like he is working on the metal stuff that goes next to the house. Hey I didn't say I was a roofing expert (HeHeHe) only that I helped. We worked hard from Monday until Thursday and managed to get it all done. YAY!!! I love you Michelle and Robert. I am glad that I was able to help and I can't wait to see Ya'll again.

David managed to get a deep sea fishing trip set up for last weekend while Robert and Michelle were down. He was very excited and so was everyone else. We all had an excellent time however the weather wasn't being nice and the wind was too high so the waves were really big on the open water so we had to stay in the bay. The guys did a lot of fishing but not a lot of catching. LOL Brandon caught a sting ray and David caught a cat fish. Both had to be turned back in the ocean as they were not edible. All in all we had a great experience and loved being together. Thanks for the memories everyone!

Jared and Jessica's Zoo Field Trip
Jared and Jessica went to the zoo last Wednesday. I went as a chaperone and just had them and one of Jared's friends to keep track of. I thought it was quite easy but still a lot of walking. I took a ton of pictures and had a hard time picking just a few so we will just browse a while.

My oldest nephew, Trey, was married Sunday, April 19, 2009. Here are some of the photos that I took .

R.D. and Michelle, the proud parents!
Momma, this was her first grandchild to be married.
Trey and Stephanie cutting the cake. The cake was a combined effort of Momma, Sandy, and me. Momma baked and then iced the cakes. I made the frosting and put shells around the edge of the cake and Sandy added the finishing touches with flowers and making it beautiful. I think it turned out beautiful!
R.D., Trey and Michelle. It was a very emotional day for the parents! Yikes! You learn how fast time goes by when you start seeing the kids growing up and getting married.
It's a little fuzzy but I like this picture of Trey and Stephanie together.
The whole clan minus one. Ryan is on his mission we miss you Ryan.R.D and Michelle with their kids Trey and Stephanie, Riley, Tori, and Wesley

One Crazy Week!
Well it's spring break and the kids are all home. What a time we have had. I already posted last weekend but let me tell you about our week. It started off pretty slow. Monday we just cleaned house but on Tuesday I remembered about Taxes! Arggg!!! I started working on them at 9am and was still working on them around 1am. No that is not a typo I worked all day on the darn things and didn't get anywhere. So on Wednesday I started working on them again at 9am and then gave up and decided it was time to mail in an extension. Should have been easy right. NOT!! I had to go to David's office about 3 times trying to get them to print so that I could mail them off. I finally bought a printer so that I could print them at home and then finally I was mailing them at the post office. When all of that was done I drove to pick up Krystal and then we went to my mom's house. My nephew is getting married on Sunday and mom and I needed to frost his wedding cake. So that is what we did on Thursday. I'll post pictures of the cake later. I forgot to take some so I will have to wait until Sunday. Anyway the last couple of days have been crazy and the next couple of days will be crazy too. I'll post more later.

Easter 2008 Pictures
We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We managed to fill the day with a lot of fun activities. I have added a whole bunch of pictures to document our fun. However, I want to make sure to mention that all though we had a lot of fun, we still took time to think about the true reason we were celebrating Easter. Our Savior Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins and made it possible for us to return home to our Father in Heaven. May we always remember no matter what the day, is my continual prayer. Okay so now for the fun.
When we got to my mom's house on Saturday the kids went played outside because it was such a beautiful day and we knew that it was to rain on Sunday. Jessica climbed a tree and I just had to take a picture. Isn't she cute?
Jessica found hers under the table!
Jared found his up in a tree!
Once the baskets were found it was time to hunt the eggs.
Jared liked to find them.
Jessica trying to figure out how to get the egg!
Krystal happy about how many she is finding.
Bethany and Krystal share eggs.
Once the eggs were found and a yummy breakfast of eggs benedict we started to get pretty for church. Here is Jessica with a hair style I found off of Mormon Mommy blogs.
Katie in a tree. Goodness she is growing up way too fast!
I did I fun hair style on Krystal also. I can't believe that she is 9.
Okay, here is Bethany and man does she know how to pose!
Okay there are more pictures of Jessica but I just wanted to show off her hair style. I was really impressed with myself! LOL
And the other side!
Now here is her smiling face.
