True Love!!!

Last night Alecia asked if she could start walking before her shower each morning. For those of you who don't know she wakes up and takes a shower at 4:45 am. Now who in their right mind is going to allow their 15 year old daughter to walk by herself at that time in the morning! (Sigh) Yeah and I am a sucker for my kids, I just love them sooo much and I want them to have every opportunity. So what do I say.... I told her that I would get up with her at 4am and walk with her!!!! Am I NUTS!!!! I told her she had to wake me up hoping that she would sleep in and not want to walk. But nooooo my dedicated sweet wonderful daughter woke me up and then when it looked like I was going to go back to sleep she said, "come on mom, Mind over matter." Eeeek that was her Dad coming straight out of her mouth. So of course I roll out of bed and go walking with her. It is a good healthy habit but come on 4am is crazy.

My very busy week! The next 6 posts!

The next 6 posts were all posted today because I was kind of busy while for the last week. Between roofing, basket ball games, zoo trips, fishing trips birthdays and weddings I was really busy. I hope you enjoy reading about my week. I sure had fun living it.LOL

Roofing?!?!

Michelle and Robert needed to re-roof their house that they are renting so they came down to get it done. Brandon and I helped them and their son Casey. I didn't do much but I figured what I was able to do was something that they didn't have to do. Brandon was a big help and worked really hard and played some too. LOL Yes I did get on the roof and yes I did help. I helped get the original tiles off and then I helped pass the shingles and cut shingles. Michelle while on the roof!

Brandon working on something. Robert is in the background it looks like he is working on the metal stuff that goes next to the house. Hey I didn't say I was a roofing expert (HeHeHe) only that I helped. We worked hard from Monday until Thursday and managed to get it all done. YAY!!! I love you Michelle and Robert. I am glad that I was able to help and I can't wait to see Ya'll again.

Deep sea fishing??? Opps no bayside fishing!

David managed to get a deep sea fishing trip set up for last weekend while Robert and Michelle were down. He was very excited and so was everyone else. We all had an excellent time however the weather wasn't being nice and the wind was too high so the waves were really big on the open water so we had to stay in the bay. The guys did a lot of fishing but not a lot of catching. LOL Brandon caught a sting ray and David caught a cat fish. Both had to be turned back in the ocean as they were not edible. All in all we had a great experience and loved being together. Thanks for the memories everyone!Michelle and me, friends for eternity

Alecia's 15th Birthday!

Alecia turned 15 April 24th. It is so hard to believe that my baby is growing up! She is such a joy to be around. She is very talented and loving and just the best daughter and sister that she can be. Happy Birthday baby. When Alecia came home from seminary Friday morning the kids attacked.

I took Alecia and Michelle out to lunch for their birthdays. Michelle's birthday is the day before Alecia's and she was down to fix her roof so I was able to have fun with her while she was down. I love you Michelle!
